Septic Installations
Building a new home or replacing a failed system? We take care of soil tests, permitting, tank sizing, and full installation. Most projects finish in two to three working days once approvals are in place, leaving your yard clean and graded.
We work closely with each customer throughout the whole process to give updates, answer questions, and keep them involved every step of the way.
Our Septic Installation Process
Site Evaluation & Soil Test
We meet on-site to dig test holes, assess soil type, and measure groundwater depth. This information determines the system size and whether you need a trench, bed, or mound.
Design & Permitting
We submit the soil data to the local health department who provides a permit and designs a system layout for your property. We handle all paperwork and communication with the health department until your permit is approved.
Excavation & Tank Placement
Our crew clears the work area, excavates to the correct depth, sets the watertight concrete or poly tank, and lasers it level. All inlet and outlet lines are bedded in stone for long-term stability.
Drain field Construction & Hook-Up
We install the drain field media (stone, chamber, or pressurized lines), connect distribution piping, and place inspection ports and effluent filters so future maintenance is simple.
Inspection, Backfill & Final Grade
The county inspector signs off on the completed system. We backfill the area, grade for proper drainage, and seed disturbed areas – leaving your yard tidy and the system ready for decades of trouble-free service.
Septic Repairs
When warning signs (slow drains, sewage odors, wet spots, or alarm lights) appear, you need fast, clear answers. Site Right Excavation specializes in diagnosing and repairing Western U.P. septic systems of every age and design, from cracked inlet lines and failed pumps to saturated drain fields.
We combine camera inspections with on-site soil checks to pinpoint the problem, explain your options in plain language, and restore safe, reliable service – often the very same day.

Our Septic Maintenance Process
System Check & Record Review
We start by inspecting your tank, filter, and drain field—checking for wear, build-up, or signs of early failure. If you’ve used us before, we pull your service history for smarter scheduling.
Effluent Filter Cleaning
We remove, rinse, and reinstall your filter so it doesn’t clog flow to the drainfield. This simple step helps prevent backups and extends the life of your system.
Pump Scheduling & Access Support
If your tank is due for pumping, we help you coordinate with a local licensed hauler—and make sure your risers and lids are accessible for easy, safe service.
Maintenance Tips & Next Steps
Before we leave, we share easy, tailored advice based on your household size and system type—like water-use habits, landscaping limits, and when your next checkup should be.
